We had an amazing stay and were made to feel so welcome. The hospitality was great and we loved having access to the snooker table and darts. Can't wait to come again very soon - would highly recommend!

You are the perfect hosts – nothing is too much trouble and we are honoured to have been your ‘guinea pig’ for Poppy Place! From the moment we arrived, we have been made to feel at home. When a teenager says, “This isn’t like a holiday, it just feels like we’re at home”, you know you’re onto a winner! The facilities you have here mean that even when we brought the Burnley rain with us, there is still loads to do. You have created a real “home from home” and we will be back to see you very soon – hopefully the sun will shine and we won’t need the fire or the radiators! Idyllic farmhouse complex - as well as being a wonderful place to live, the cottages are well equipped and to top it all off, the complex has a swimming pool a bar with pool table, darts and table tennis. The value for money is outstanding. I would highly recommend it.

THE DUGDALE FAMILY 04/26 What a fantastic 3 days we have had! Rose Retreat has been a home away from home. Such a comfortable place to stay & play. John & Michelle have looked after us during our stay so well. We have had such a brilliant time, with excellent weather. The stargazing in the evening has been truly special, along with a great walk and meal at The Mill. Thanks xx
