Gîtes Le Chézeau – Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Information
A 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation. For 2‑week stays, the deposit is £300. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
All guests must provide their full name, address, phone number, and email to ensure accurate booking records and smooth communication.
2. Check‑In & Check‑Out
Check‑in: from 4:00pm
Check‑out: by 10:00am Early check‑in or late check‑out may be possible by prior arrangement.
3. Arrival Deposit
A refundable €50 cash deposit is collected on arrival. It is returned at departure provided that:
The gîte is left clean and tidy
No damage or breakages have occurred
House rules have been respected
4. House Rules
To keep the gîtes welcoming for everyone:
Please leave the property clean and tidy following the departure checklist
Report any damage or breakages immediately
Dogs are welcome (maximum 2), must be supervised, and are not allowed on beds or sofas
No smoking indoors
Please be considerate of our neighbours
5. Use of Facilities
Guests have access to:
Heated outdoor swimming pool
Games area (pool, snooker, darts, table tennis)
Pétanque area
Secure bike storage
For safety:
Children must be supervised at all times, especially around the pool
No glass is permitted in the pool area
Use of facilities is at guests’ own risk
6. Pets
We welcome well‑behaved dogs (maximum 2). Owners are responsible for:
Cleaning up after their pets
Preventing damage
Ensuring pets do not disturb other guests
7. Cancellation Policy
More than 6 weeks before arrival: the 25% deposit is retained
Less than 30 days before arrival: the full amount is due
No‑shows or early departures: non‑refundable
We recommend guests take out travel insurance
8. Liability
Gîtes Le Chézeau is not responsible for:
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Accidents or injuries occurring on the property
Disruption caused by events beyond our control (weather, power cuts, etc.)
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
9. Local Taxes
Local tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is collected on arrival. The amount will be confirmed 6 weeks before your visit.
10. Booking Contract
Guests will be asked to sign a short rental agreement confirming these terms.
